A Roman Catholic Church is much more than a beautiful church building where Christians gather, it is a parish home where Jesus Christ is celebrated and experienced. Since Our Lord celebrated the Last Supper, believers have “devoted themselves to the teaching of the Apostles, the communal life, the breaking of the bread and to the prayers.”
(Acts 2: 43)
We at the Catholic Community of St. Peter, St. Mary, and St. Hedwig, remain devoted to the teaching of the Apostles through our unity with our Bishop, Terry LaValley and our Holy Father, Pope Francis, the successor of Peter the Apostle. As members of the Ancient Church of Rome, nourished by the celebration of the Eucharist and the other Sacraments given by Christ himself, we share a rich communal life of love and service here in Lewis County.
I hope you feel welcome to join us for the weekend celebration of the Eucharist and I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you might have.
Peace,
